Project Intellectual Output
As part of The Circular HRM project partners are pleased to present the “Model of Circular Human Resource Management” research publication as one of the project outputs (Intelectual Output 1). Based on experts’ knowledge, a scientific and participatory approach to defining the conceptual model of the circular economy methodology, and the active participation of companies in the partners’ countries, a model of circularity in HR Management was defined. Circular Economy produces “hard” but also “soft” innovation
In this interview, Sébastien Bourdin talks about the challenges for HR managers in the transition to a circular economy. The lack of understanding of circular economy and sustainable development demonstrates a fundamental need of training on what circular economy is to ultimately understand the gains that sustainable development and circular economy can both bring to the companies and their HRM.
In this time of COVID, project partnership continues to meet and recently held a coordination meeting on 1st of April 2021, to discuss the progress on the circular training programme for HR managers and plan the next upcoming transnational meeting in May 2021. The production of 7 training modules and their integration into learning material is well underway (Intellectual Output 2). Partners appreciated a demonstration of the e-training and knowledge sharing platform (Intellectual Output 3).
In the past several months, the Circular HRM team begun intensively working on the preparation of Open Educational Resources (OER) in the form of e-learning content, and the development of a learning platform – Intellectual Output 3. The platform covers two training courses: one for HR managers covering 7 modules, each for one Circular HRM principle, and another course for the employees, focusing on introductory module covering all Circular HRM principles. .
The next transnational meeting, initially scheduled to take place in Perugia in Italy, will take place online on 27-28 May 2021. Project partners will plan on completing the Intelectual Output 2 and advancing on the second part of Intellectual Output 3, “Pilot the on-the job mentoring course and the online component of the Circular HRM training programme.
